it's always nice returning to hawaii

this picture is on bikini beach

just down the the street from house

our favorite park to go to was right next to the temple

    

justice loves looking at photos of himself

he would pose for pictures and videos for me all day

he cracked himself up whenever he looked at them

these are just a few of my favorites 

kash 

one of the most athletic 4 year olds 

kash's friend liked to visit us at the park

he always had some crazy tricks to show us 

and of course, kash would always want to try them

posing for pictures yet again

we loved going to the gym to play basketball

knox loved finding places to hide and climb

the ipad has a way of keeping these boys entertained

could not have been more excited about returning to these kiddos

from golf carting, basketball, shoots and ladders, war, jump rope, hula hooping, the park, soccer, power rangers, biking, frozen yogurt, football, taking photos to beaching it up

we always had a blast

these two hoodrats came honeymooning to oahu

i was so sad i wasn't able to go to hannahs wedding

but seeing them in hawaii was pretty great

i loaned them my car for the week so they could cruise the island

auntie and uncle came to HAWAII!

they went on a cruise through all the hawaiian islands

and were kind enough to make time to see me while on oahu 

i loved seeing them

auntie and i cruised the entire island 

we were able to have some wonderful conversations 

about life, love, marriage, religion, family...

i'm so blessed to have such wonderful examples in my life

for morgan's birthday we had a flour fight

we got a ton of nylons, filled them with flour and whacked each other 

it was quite entertaining

it was crazy how calm it was in the summer

almost like a lake

one of my quiet house roommates got engaged

we had a bachelorette party for her

and played some pretty entertaining games

happy birthday miss ASIA

asia climbed up on a ladder and gave us a speech for her birthday

that girl cracks me up

she is so funny 

mainly because she doesn't realize what she says and does is so funny 

chillin' at waimea with this love

can't believe she's going on a mission

ONLY IN HAWAII

one time i left my backpack in my car overnight

it was a terrible mistake

for the next couple of weeks every time i pulled something out i'd get a surprise along with it

the picture to the left is CHICKEN FEET

no where else have i seen that sold in the local grocery store

back to WA

we drove through fire on our way back to WA

it was actually really scary

the fire was jumping across the freeway

you'd think they would have the freeway shut down 

but i guess there were bigger problems elsewhere

as we drove near the fire the entire temperature surrounding the car got hotter

it didn't seem too safe

but! we made it home safely 

after a week or so of being wrapped up 

a hoff decided to see what his ankle looked like

poor little guy

it was still just a little swollen

madre and i found the most accurate mirror 

at the pacific science center

why don't all mirrors make us look so closely 

to how we see ourselves?

this is how everyone else sees us, right?

we've been visiting the science center ever since i can remember

glad we all still enjoy it

we took the ferries up to some island on my of my last days in WA

whatever island we ended up at was the wrong one

madre and i had planned on there being shops and places to eat

but it was only a beach

oops

we had fun at the beach

the boys played baseball with some seashells 

we walked around a little 

but not too much since we had a gimp with us 

padre was cracking me up 

he kept his head phones in the whole time 

and walked around with the newspaper

it was fun hanging out with whats left of the fambam

saying goodbye to these little hoodrats

they always miss me

i can't believe how old they are these days!

pretty soon seth will be the only one left at home

only 8 months later. 

i'm really getting much better at this whole blogging thing

last july the fambam rented a house up in park city

the house was incredible

and the location was amazing

we were able to visit downtown park city, spot a moose in our yard, hottub, go hiking and of course just hang out and eat 

(our favorite activity)

towards the end of the vacation a hoff fell off one of the pillars while climbing on the side of the house

he ended up breaking his ankle 

poor guy, but with all his wild climbing

it was bound to happen sometime

when he first fell off he came in the house without telling anyone

he was laying on the couch

he asked to come over and look at it

i didn't realize anything was actually wrong so i told him to, "be a man, toughen up and walk it off"

come to find out that he actually broke it

wooops, sorry little brother

 on our way up to park city we stopped at spoon it up

i have a problem

i love frozen yogurt

 we also stopped and rode down the provo river

the water is always shockingly cold

 little saders stole the show up in park city

                 

k Hoff and i wishing we had baking skills like hunty 

We obviously love interacting with each other

     

     

i got to know mikey much better on this vacation

not sure he felt the same way, but!
